ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION (ADR) PROCEDURE FOR EU CUSTOMERS

As a customer, you may contact your local ADR entity regarding a dispute that you are unable to resolve directly with Astraja.

What is ADR?

ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) is a procedure for out-of-court settlement of domestic and cross-border disputes regarding obligations arising from a contract for the sale of products or services concluded between a seller operating in the EU and a consumer residing in the EU. The dispute resolution is mediated by an ADR entity that proposes or determines a solution or mediates contact between the parties, helping them find an amicable solution.

ADR entities enable out-of-court dispute resolution. They remain neutral (e.g. a conciliator, mediator, arbitrator, ombudsman or complaints committee). Astraja will use their assistance if the client decides to use the out-of-court dispute resolution procedure. The ADR procedure is a cheap, easy and quick way to resolve disputes, which is beneficial for both sellers and consumers because it avoids court costs and lengthy proceedings.

How can I make a complaint through the ADR process?
